Flying & Driving Directions

From the North, Northwest or Northeast:

Take I-80 to Ohio Route 11. In East Liverpool, OH, take Route 7 South twenty-five miles to Steubenville. Turn right onto University Boulevard. Franciscan University is approximately 1/2 mile on the right.

From the West, Southwest or South:

Take I-70 to Ohio Route 7 North, 30 miles to Steubenville. Follow Ohio Route 7 North approximately 1 mile past downtown Steubenville. Turn left onto University Boulevard. Franciscan University is approximately 1/2 mile on the right.

From the Southeast or East:

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76) West to Exit 57, (formerly Exit 6) Pittsburgh. Follow US 22 west through Pittsburgh. Following signs to the airport, cross the Fort Pitt Bridge. Approximately 10 miles past the Fort Pitt Bridge, take the Weirton Exit, US 22 West. Follow US 22 West to Steubenville (approx. 28 miles). Take the first exit after the Ohio River, University Boulevard/Ohio 7 South. Turn right onto University Boulevard. Franciscan University is approximately 1/2 mile on the right.

From the Pittsburgh International Airport:

Take Pennsylvania Route 576 West towards Weirton (50¢ toll road; 10 minutes). Merge onto Route 22 West for about 20 minutes. Follow US 22 West to Steubenville (past Weirton, West Virginia). On the large cable bridge (Veterans Memorial Bridge), get in the right-hand lane and take the exit for Route 7 South/University Blvd. At the stop light turn right onto University Boulevard. Franciscan University is approximately 1/2 mile on the right.
