Patrick Madrid
Patrick Madrid is a life-long Catholic, not a convert. He serves as the director of the Envoy Institute of Belmont Abbey College and as publisher of Envoy Magazine. He has authored or edited 15 books on Catholic themes, including the acclaimed Surprised by Truth series, Pope Fiction, Search and Rescue, and Does the Bible Really Say That? His newest book, co-authored with Kenneth Hensley, is The Godless Delusion: A Catholic Challenge to Modern Atheism.
The host of several EWTN television series, Patrick also hosts the Thursday edition of EWTN Radio's "Open Line" broadcast, heard across the country on approximately 150 AM & FM stations, as well as on the Sirius Satellite Radio network. He holds a bachelor of science degree in business, as well as a bachelor of philosophy (B.Phil.) degree in philosophy from the Pontifical College Josephinum, where he is completing an M.A. degree in theology.
Patrick and his wife Nancy are in their 30th year of marriage and have been blessed by the Lord with 11 healthy and happy children and 8 grandchildren (with another one on the way).
